I didn't get to make the revenge run because of work, so I took a 200 mile ride today just to make myself feel better. I rode to Atlantic Beach just to put some miles on the bike.

Well I kinda got fucked and now I have to work on Friday so I won't be able to make the full Revenge Run. But I'm gonna meet up with the group Saturday morning in Cedar Island and make the ride to Wilmington for the party.

I think I would go with the King Sporty which is 2 inces longer and like an 1 1/2 wider than the one shown. Just not sure how its all gonna fit on the backbone and cover.

The new bike..

So I've been looking for a pit bike to mess around in the yard with, and Luke has a klx 110 so i started looking for one on Craigslist and sent out a shit load of emails and called people and never received much response. Well yesterday I was talking to a guy about getting his bike and he didn't want to come down $50 so I told him if I couldn't find a different one for a better price I'd call him later. Well I got off the phone with that dumb ass and started looking Craigslist again and there it was for just the right price just listed 2 hours ago. Call the guy and get his address and start the two and a half drive up to Sophia NC.when we get there the bike is like brand new and his phone is ringing off the hook while we looked at the bike. Well I wasn't leaving with out it so I paid the man and we loaded it into the truck for another two and a half hour drive.







The seat height is only an inch or so shorter than the Sporty so it's not too little

I went to the Harley dealer this weekend with a good friend from work to check out some bikes. He is getting into bikes and is wanting a sporty so I figured why not go where they have a bunch of bikes so he can sit on them and just look around. Well they had one XR and I got to look it over and talk with the owner of Shelton's and I was very impressed with the bike, over all it is set up to ride and ride hard. I really liked the controls and the seat height, it seemed a little wide but I have been riding a really narrow low bike for the last five years so it would take some getting used to. But I will never own one but the bike felt amazing and I bet it is a blast to Ride. Shelton said that they have been overlooked and that he hasn't sold too many of them "because everyone wants the look and not the performance" as he pointed at the nightster. It's probably the best bike Harley has put out in more than a decade but it will fall to the way side just as buell did, Man it's a shame

Finally it's in!!!

Finally got the engine in the frame. It is sitting on the ground!!! I am very happy with the way it appears it will sit. I can't wait to add more and get it closer to being finished. In the mean time I have to split time and money between my bike and a wrecked Jeep. They both will get done and it will be a great day.

Today is a good day

When I woke up this morning all that was on my mind was go to the mail box and see if my shirts have showed up, So I drag my ass out of bed and throw on my boots and make my way to the mail box. When I get there I open the box and my god damn shirts aren't in there........ maybe tomorrow. so I start going through the mail, bill,bill, and there it was To Rebecca Kirby, a manilla envelope with Wayne Community College as the return address. So I get all excited call Becky and read the letter to her, and she got accepted to nursing school. She is in to NURSING SCHOOL and I am so proud of her and very excited for her to finally make her dreams come true. So another 2 years of school and she will be a RN. And we will doing pretty good in this fucked up economy.

This bike is so simple and put together very well. nothing stands out and just blows your mind it is just a nice tight package and you have to look at the whole thing to realize how great it is

Push up Ice cream

I stopped at the gas station today to pick up some smokes and I decided to get an Ice Cream, I got a Orange push pop and it was delicious. I haven't eaten a push pop for years and it made me feel like a kid again and brought back great memories. I like the simple joys in life and that is definitely one of them.
