V-22 Osprey Medium-Lift, Multi-mission, Tilt-Rotor Aircraft

I have seen a few of these flying around lately and today when I was riding my bike I saw one flying a few hundred feet off the ground with it's rotors about 60 degrees getting ready to land. These planes are sweet they have a bitching sound.
The aircraft is powered by two T406-AD-400 turboshaft engines
The entire rotor, transmission and engine nacelles tilt through 90°.

The Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey is a multi-mission, military, tilt rotor with both a vertical takeoff and landing and short takeoff and landing capability. It is designed to perform missions like a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. The V-22 was developed and is manufactured jointly by Bell Helicpter, and Boing Rotorcraft systems it is operated by the U.S.M.C and U.S.A.F.

Becky found a Black Widow in our window yesterday

She told me she found it while I was at work and I didn't belive her. so when I got home she showed me this. You can kind of see the red dots here.
So I caught this bastard and put it in the freezer to kill it then put it in alcohol to preserve it.
It had red dots on it's back and the hour glass on the belly. it's pretty fucking rad, I had never seen a black widow before, but if theres one then theres got to be more.

Crocker from WTT

This is the burn outs from the Crocker
Hemi Head Crocker 1 of 13 built

I didn't get to see this bike run but it was bad ass just sitting there. I was told that they were having some rocker trouble from all the burn outs he does on it. While I was talking to Matt he looked down and noticed that the dog had pissed on the front tire, he cleaned it up with a rag and laughed that the dog had pissed on a 300,000$ bike.

I Love this pic...

69th post

Panheads at WTT.

"OCC's inspiration, a Coca Cola Pan not sure when it was built but looked to be in the 70's. It was pretty cool for being a "Theme bike"

6 Pan's all lined up ready to ride
this bike was "thrown together" by Matt (Dale's son). He said they picked up the roller years ago and it just sat so one weekend his dad was gone he started building a motor and trans for it and when Dale got back they finished it up together. I wish I had the shit they have just laying around.
This pan was donated to them. the guy built it in the 70's and when he died he gave it to them for their museum. The bike was named Purple Haze I have another pic but it turned out really bad but this bike was bad ass.

After we left TN. Becky and I went to Brison City NC.

Becky next to the river
The river
An old motor and trans in the bank.
I think thats an old Fairlain in there. I wish I could have gotten better pics but I wasn't going in the water so this is what I got.

which is 20 miles out of the way to get some Barbecue wagon (which is some of the best barbecue I've ever had) and they were closed on Sunday's so we stopped by the river where they have cars in the bank to help stop erosion (I think) so I took some pics of the cars and the River.

I'm not a big fan of new music but this is pretty catchy.

I had a great time in TN. this weekend

I had a blast hanging out with Ricky and his Family. We hung out in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg doing the shopping and tourist shit but the best for me was the wheels through time museum and it was just amazing. There were so many bikes that blew me away. I took a lot of pictures on my phone which means they are pretty shitty but some are decent. I will be posting some of the pics that turned out ok and share the little I know or learned about each bike. The craziest part was that you don't realize how spectacular all of these bikes are, there are so many cool and rare bikes that they almost seem normal . There were rows of pans, knucks, flaties,XA's,XR's, Indians, and many more American made bikes. It was really cool to spend hours just looking at all the details on these bikes.

Speaking of magazines...........

I was at the magazine rack and was blown away by this shit there was 11 magazines with Michael Jackson on the fucking cover. Who gives a fuck about that piece of shit. there is alot more to care about than that freak. 3 months ago no one cared about him and he dies and everyone loves him and was such a big fan, fucking dumb people.

magazine cover monday...

I found a site with a shit load of vintage magazine covers. I spent over an hour looking at different magazine covers and saved alot of them, so I'll share them with you. One of the cool things I noticed was i looked at YEARS of Saturday Evening Post and there was not one Black on the cover. man how things have changed.

My New welding helmet

I got the camo helmet because everyone at work has helmets with goofy flames, skulls, jokers, eagles and a whole bunch of dumb shit so I got the simple one to put stickers on.It has a big lens in it and is a shit load better than the piece of shit I had. If you have any stickers you want to send them put them In the mail.

another FXR

I catch shit for liking rubber mount, 5 speed, swing arm, evo bikes but I really want a FXR. When the wife gets out of school and gets her job I will have one.

Jeremy's bike with new paint

70's cool

Crockers

Jeff Decker's custom Crocker

These bike were built in the 30's and early 40's and Al Crocker had a full money back guarantee if you were beat in a race by a Harley or Indian, he never had to give anyone their money back. I have quite a few more awesome vintage Crocker pics and will put some more history of these rare bikes in a later post.
